after the screening call, they sent me a take-home. I believe most companies that make you do a take-home before even a technical interview, are companies that don't value people time... but I hoped this was an exception. Of course, it wasn't. I completed it in 24hrs. Just after 3 days, I receive an email saying the position was already filled. The take-home? No feedback at all, no mention about it. Plus, the strange woman that interviewed me was quite disgusting and unprofessional. Again, why do you keep sending take-homes to the candidates if you are already filling the position with someone else?

Behavioral Technical Presentation

The recruiter was unprofessional and scheduled three interviews on the same day: Talent Acquisition, Product, and Technical. The recruiter said the technical interview would cover technologies I've used. The product interview was with the hiring manager. She described the role well and seemed nice but wasn't attentive. It was mostly a standard behavioral interview. The technical interview turned out to be a product sense interview, which was unexpected. I was asked to improve Spotify, even though I said I barely use it. I opened the app and went through market analysis, user analysis, pain points, and solutions. I never heard back, and the recruiter didn't follow up.

I ghosted. Very unprofessional. I interviewed with the recruiter, hiring manager, VP of retail growth, VP of Engineering, Principal Product Manager and the Sr. Director of Professional Services. I had 6 interviews and they all went pretty well. Each person and the recruiter said they would get back to me asap with next steps either way. I have reached out several times via email and LinkedIn to both recruiters and have heard nothing back. Honestly, I can see being too busy to get back to a candidate that only had one interview but not getting back to someone who met with 6 people really says a lot about their culture. Also, their Sr. Director of Prof services asked me interview questions and then would cut me off and talk over me while I tried to respond... very glad I accepted another offer. I saw a lot of red flags while interviewing at Swiftly.

Behavioral

I had a typical phone interview with a manager. It was mostly about giving me info on the company and position, and asking about my experience. They said the next person I'd interview with was on vacation, so nothing would happen until they got back. After over a week, I still heard nothing and didn't get a response when I asked about my status.
