The interview process was really good. They gave us an assessment related to our job scope using Codility. They also notified us by email if the application was not successful. The process was smooth and all communicated by email clearly. The talent acquisition team responded to all questions and clearly stated the job description for the position.

So, the first thing was this written test, then I had a chat with HR which was pretty chill. They told me the Hiring Manager would be next, and I told them I'd need about a week's heads-up to get leave approved. They sent over the invite, but it was super close to the date, like just a few days before. Fortunate for me, I managed to get the leave and made it. The interview with the Hiring Manager and two other Senior Test Engineers was great. After that, it was a video call with the Technical Leads for the technical interview. That also went well, though I stumbled on some questions about Unix commands and scripting because I'm not super strong in those areas. A couple of weeks later, HR called and said they wanted to hire me. But, the main QA boss, who was in KL, wanted to talk to me first before anything was final. The catch? I had to go in that same day. Talk about last-minute scheduling, definitely a bad experience this time. He grilled me like I was applying for a developer role, and I got the feeling he wasn't keen on hiring me. And yeah, he was right. A few weeks later, HR called again. They decided to go with someone else but asked if I'd be interested in the same role on a different team. I was fine with it since she guaranteed the job was pretty much the same. I accepted, but the invite mentioned this Hiring Manager wanted someone *technically stronger* than the previous one. I asked for the specifics, but crickets until the morning of the interview. I wasn't going to waste my time again on an interview with no clue about what they were looking for, so I told them I wouldn't be attending.

Had a screening call in mid-June, then an in-person interview in late June or early July. Got a rejection email in mid-August. I think there are 3 interview stages before they offer a job. Kind of bummed about the lack of updates and communication about my application status, and then getting rejected after a month. Would have been nice to get feedback and more regular updates during the whole process.
