First a discovery meeting with the VP, then a full day of interviews. It started with a "pitch yourself" section that included some fun facts. After that, there were interviews with peers and Management. It felt like a startup, with a big focus on cultural fit.

It was a really weird interview process. I got through the hiring manager and the technical screen, and then they set up the final panel interview. Throughout the whole thing, I didn't get much feedback, which already made me think poorly of the company's culture. For the final interview, I had to do a presentation, which felt like a complete waste of time. Like others have said, they don't seem to care about people's time. The person who did my initial technical screen, during the final interview, read from a script with questions that weren't even relevant to the job I was applying for. I decided right then that I wouldn't accept an offer from them. It felt disorganized, and not a place I'd want to work.

We went through several interview rounds with HR, the hiring manager, and the leadership team. The main interview process lasted an entire day. One of the requirements was a PowerPoint presentation about myself. Most of the interviews were one-on-one with different people from around the company.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

Had an initial chat with a recruiter who gave a low compensation estimate for my experience in the Bay Area, not including stock options, especially since they aren't near an IPO and aren't sure if they'll go public or get acquired. Then they set up a surprisingly long 5-hour panel interview (I agreed because my team was on vacation and I was bored). This interview made it clear the company didn't have a defined vision for improvement. I decided right after that I would turn down any offer. They did send a thank you, which was a relief.
