After I sent in the technical assignment, I had to wait 16 days for the technical interview. The interview wasn't really what I expected, it was mostly about Java and Android theory, not much about my assignment. The interviewer seemed pretty set on their way of doing things, even for stuff that usually has multiple approaches. Around this time, I got another offer, but Swenson He was my top choice, so I asked them for a quicker decision. I tried reaching out multiple times over 8 days, but didn't hear back much. In the end, I got an automated rejection email with no details. Honestly, the interview process could be better. They should talk more about the candidate's work in the technical part, and the communication timing needs to be more reliable. People applying here should expect a long process and might need to chase for updates. Even though the company seems like a good place to work, they could improve how they communicate with candidates and make the process smoother.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

The interview process was incredibly disorganized and took over a month to progress. The final round involved meeting one of the founders, who was eating lunch during our conversation, which felt very disrespectful. After completing a full challenge, I was ghosted and only received an automated email two months later stating the role had changed.

I was reached out for an initial call to go over my understanding of the company and role, and the rest of the interview process. It was 20 minutes and the VP of operations talked about the company, job duties and asked general questions to get to know me, my background and abilities. Then, I was contacted by the two founders for a phone interview since I was abroad and couldn't do any in-person interviews. Each call was about 30 minutes. In these calls, we went deep into my CV, past experiences and even my language skills.

It was pretty straightforward. I had three short virtual meetings. Some questions were asked more than once. Overall, I got a sense of what the company is looking for and their main focus. Everyone seemed friendly. Since it's a freelance gig, the process wasn't as intense as it would be for a full-time position.
