I applied via a recruiting agency, and they presented my application to the company. I received feedback that I was a strong candidate, but they decided to proceed with their own hiring process. I noticed the position was reposted, so I applied directly on their website. I had an interview with the hiring manager. They committed to providing feedback, but after a month and several follow-ups, I haven't heard back.

The interview process had several stages, but it was a really nice chat, very relaxed. The people were polite. They were a little late to greet me. Overall, I can say it was not a traumatic experience. I just didn't accept the offer because I received a counter-offer from my current company.

Where to start? They are extremely unprofessional. They solicit you for job interviews, are faulty about times to interview, lie to you DURING your interviews and politicize company scenarios because California is finally cracking down on the tobacco industry. Moreover, they lie about calling you or giving you any rejection letter - they don’t respond to emails and they act as if they’re genuinely interested in knowing who you are. Please save your time, these guys will waste yours.
