Technical Role
So we had this coffee chat first, super informal. Then, a technical interview, followed by some cognitive and personality tests. After that, an HR interview, and finally, reference checks. The whole thing took about five weeks. Weirdly, after all that, I haven't heard anything back.
- Can you describe a challenging work situation you encountered and the steps you took to resolve it?
- Beyond current projects, are there other avenues you see for potential project opportunities, and what would be your approach to pursuing them?
- Tell me about your experience working on international projects and any challenges that arose.
Software Engineer
The interview process in 2022 began with a meeting with the hiring manager. Following that, there was a technical interview. I attempted to get details about the technical interview beforehand, but they were unwilling to share specifics, which I found strange. During the technical interview, I was asked to present some of my code. Since I couldn't share my current work code, I ended up showing some old code from my university days, which was challenging as I didn't remember all of it. They also inquired about my salary expectations, which seemed out of place for that stage. When I asked about vacation days, one interviewer's reaction was peculiar, feigning ignorance about the exact number of days.
- Can you show me some of your code?
- What are your salary expectations?
- How many vacation days do you offer?
Coordinator
Had a few back and forths with the recruiter via email and phone, it was super easy and fast to set up some Teams interviews that happened pretty close to each other. The first interview itself was kinda short and not too tough with the department head. After that, no one got back to me with any feedback or anything, and I haven't heard from the company since.
- Can you tell me about your experience level?
- Are you able to work in Danish or English?
Designer
The interview process was super chill and made me feel confident. They were really welcoming, and the interviewer made me feel at ease. It's a two-stage interview process, and they might also give you an online assessment. It's all pretty quick. Plus, the recruitment team is really helpful and supportive throughout the whole thing.
- What makes you want to work here?
- What drives your interest in this specific role?
