First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Sweaty Betty.
Designer
The first interview was a short, 30-minute video call. It was pretty relaxed, and the interviewer made me feel comfortable. They asked the typical questions like why I wanted to join the company and how my experience fit the role.
- As a designer, what are your main strengths?
Designer
So the interview was kind of weird, like, really short and unfocused. The person interviewing me seemed distracted and busy. They even asked some questions twice, and jumped around a lot between topics. It was just an odd experience overall.

Designer
The interview process was straightforward. It started with a chat with the internal recruiter, then a meeting with the design team. They also asked for a project, but I didn't end up doing it, so I don't know how big that part was.
- Which designers do you look up to, and what's your approach to design work?
