Software Developer
The interview process took the whole day. They selected 3 people from campus. There were 4 rounds: the first was an aptitude test, the next two were technical, and the last was HR. In the HR round, the interviewer asked about my family background, my previous college life, and my activities during my 4 years of college. At the end, only 4 people were selected for the HR round, and I was one of the rejected ones.
- Can you explain what a memory leak is?
- What are polymorphism and inheritance?
- Could you discuss basic object-oriented programming concepts?
Software Engineer
I was contacted from the SVAM's Tamaulipas office while I was in Mexico. The HR people were always really kind and understanding. My first technical interview was scheduled in Spanish with someone working in Tamaulipas. After that, I had three more technical interviews with people from SVAM New York. I didn't find the interviews tough, mostly because the questions were about technologies I already had a lot of experience with.
- Regarding ASP.NET WebForms and MVC, how would you select and explain their respective benefits and trade-offs to a client?
