Technical Behavioral Coding Case

The interview process involves 5 stages after a CV screen. Stage 1 is a one-hour online maths/probability assessment. Stage 2 is a phone screen with HR, covering behavioral and easier probability questions. Stage 3 is a video interview with a trader, featuring harder probability questions in a betting/market-making context, followed by CV questions on technical skills like coding and internship projects. Stage 4 is a data analysis/modeling take-home assignment, specific to the systematic trader role. The final round is Stage 5. The overall timeline is slow, taking 2.5 months to reach stage 4, with about a month wait after stage 1 and two weeks between subsequent stages due to scheduling difficulties. Practice explaining your calculations aloud, as stages 2 and 3 questions, while not overly difficult, can be challenging if you're not accustomed to articulating your reasoning.

Finally, an interview with the head of the department and more traders took place, involving more brain teasers and questions about my CV.
