Behavioral Technical Presentation

The first step was a phone interview with HR where they asked typical fit questions, then some market-related questions, and a few straightforward probability questions. The second interview was also on the phone, but the interviewer was very late and quite rude. He started by asking about financial modeling concepts from my classes. After I listed some, he dismissed them as too advanced for what they do. Then I had to pitch a stock, which he also found too in-depth for SIG. When I asked what he liked about working there, he only mentioned the good pay before ending the interview. It felt very unprofessional to have someone so uninterested conduct the interview.

Behavioral Technical Case

I had my first interview through the school career center. We talked about my background, financial markets, and why I'm interested in the company. It was about 30 minutes and wasn't too hard or technical. I had to discuss what's going on in the market right now and suggest a stock for investment.

Started with an online quiz, then a recruiter call that was pretty straightforward. After that, there was a final round, kind of like a superday, where I met three team members with different experience levels. They asked a mix of questions, including brain teasers and finance probability problems.
