Susquehanna International Group Operations Analyst Interview Questions

The HR person was nice. The behavioral interview had 3 parts. First, they confirmed my info like name, university, and major. Then they asked why I chose SIG, why trading, and why the operations analyst role. Next, they asked if I read trading news often and about Australia's trading market and auctions. Finally, I was asked to describe a time I lacked information at work, felt stressed, or started a completely new task. There was also a riddle about finding a heavier object among 8 items in the fewest steps.

So, first you're in a room by yourself with a brain teaser, you've got 30 minutes to figure it out. It's not really about getting the right answer, more about how you think. Then, you go and chat with two different Operations Analysts for about 30 minutes each. They'll tell you about their jobs and ask you some standard questions like "Why SIG?" or "What skills do you have?" but it's pretty chill and conversational. The last part is meeting with one or two Operations execs. You'll talk through the brain teaser again and they'll ask you some more formal, but still typical, interview questions, especially about what the company does.

Had a behavioral call with HR and a brain teaser. Then, I had a second round with an operations team member where I was asked another brain teaser. The final round was in person at the office. It involved a written brain teaser and a rotation with different members of the operations team. Finally, I had an interview with the hiring team where they asked me various behavioral questions. Overall, the interview process was very behavioral, but with the added element of several brain teasers. There were maybe one or two technical questions throughout the entire process.
