Content Strategist
This was such a waste of time. I went through a screening interview, then a hiring manager interview, followed by three interviews with different staff members. Then, I had to prepare and give a 15-minute presentation to about 20 people, which I still can't believe they thought would only take an hour of my time. After that, there was another interview with the hiring manager and then one with someone who would report to me. All of this just to get a generic rejection email. It's an obnoxious process, especially when you don't get the job. If you make people jump through that many hoops, you clearly don't know what you're doing. The funniest part was seeing the job posted again last week. Seriously, don't bother.
- The questions asked were generally lacking.
Content Strategist
I applied on LinkedIn and their senior technical recruiter reached out about an interview. I picked a time from her calendar. But she never called at the scheduled time or responded to my follow-ups. It was a complete waste of my time and effort preparing. For a company of that size, this is super unprofessional. If their recruiters ghost candidates, would you even want to work there? Such a shame.
- The recruiter ghosted me and wasted my time.
Content Strategist
I applied on LinkedIn and a recruiter reached out the next day for a quick call. They told me the salary range and what the interview process would be. After that, I had three rounds: first, I chatted with the hiring manager, and heard back about next steps the day after. Then, I did a short assignment and got feedback within two days. Finally, I had a panel interview with the director, some team members, and the hiring manager. They called me with an offer four days after that. The team was really cool and professional, and their conversations about their goals made me excited to join.
- Can you share an example of how you've used customer feedback to enhance content in a past role?
