The interview process is quite long and honestly feels like a waste of time. They have 4 steps: first, an initial call with the recruiter. Then, an interview with the QA manager. Next is a take-home assignment which is way too long and frankly not great quality, with errors in it, yet they expect a polished output. Finally, after the assignment, there's a panel interview with three people. Even though the job is listed as manual QA, they seem unsure if they want manual or automation, going back and forth on it. Honestly, it's not worth the time and effort.

So the interview process had two parts, each with two interviews, and in between I had to do a technical take-home exam. First up was an interview with the recruiter, then I spoke with the VP of Engineering, who would be my manager. After that, I got a take-home test where I had to test out a website. If I passed that, I had an interview with a current Quality Engineer, and then my last interview was with the CTO. It felt like a pretty long process, but they really seemed to be looking for someone who would be a good fit both culturally and technically, because all four interviews were focused on culture.

I started by submitting my application. Then I had a phone chat with a recruiter, followed by another phone chat with the Hiring Manager. After that, I was given a take-home QA challenge that I had a few days to finish. Once I submitted the challenge, I had a Zoom call with a QA Engineer on the team, and then a Zoom call with the CTO. The whole process was pretty straightforward and comfortable. Everyone I talked to was really nice. I thought I would accept an offer from them, but I ended up getting an offer from another company that was a better fit for me right now. If that other offer hadn't come up, I would have gladly accepted their offer and worked there. They seem like a great company with great people!
