So I went into the store about a week and a half ago to see if they were hiring for the holidays. They said they were and told me to apply online. I did that and then went back to the store a few days later to let them know I applied and was really interested. They emailed me about two hours after that with an interview date for a few days later. The interview was super basic, lots of situational questions like how I'd handle a displeased customer or a time I made a customer happy. They also asked me to pick an item in the store and then explain how I'd sell it.

Applied online initially, but was told to re-apply in person due to a system issue. Went in the same day to fill out the application with the shift supervisor/temp manager. They said they'd contact me in about a week once the new manager was in place. After a month with no word, I got a voicemail to come in for an interview. I called back, but the manager was busy on the floor and said she'd call me back later to schedule. Meanwhile, I got another job offer for almost full-time hours, and I'm just trying to see if I can get 1-2 days here for the discount. Still waiting for that callback from the manager.

I had one phone interview and then an in-person. The interviewer was really nice and spoke well. They asked typical questions like "why do you want to work here?" and "what are your career goals?" They also wanted to see how familiar I was with the products. It was pretty quick and easy. Sadly, I found out I was pregnant right after getting hired and couldn't continue working for most of my pregnancy, but I really liked the people and the company.
