Supreme Lending Interview Questions
& Process

Recruiter reached out to see if I wanted to interview for an entry level Analyst position. Then I had two people interview me and they asked some really basic questions.

A former coworker set up this interview. First, I spoke with Melissa over the phone, who was very pleasant. It was a standard phone call with some questions, and then she scheduled the in-person interview for that week. When I arrived, I met the loan officer I'd be assisting. After that, I had a longer chat with Melissa, the branch manager. Finally, I talked with some current Loan Officer Assistants and processors. They all seemed nice and were upfront about the office culture. The whole interview took about 45 minutes, and they said they'd let me know by the end of the week, which was a Wednesday. They also did a background check.

I had a telephone interview with the underwriting manager. We talked about my background and experience in mortgage underwriting. They also answered my questions about the company. I was a little misled by the information given about the job though. It didn't really show that the production department had little responsibility and that the underwriter would have to do the processor's job.

It was a short, sweet, and to-the-point interview process. It was nice not having to jump through too many hoops. I talked with my direct manager and then Human Resources, and once they figured I was qualified, things moved pretty quickly.
