So I've never reviewed before, but I had to after how this whole thing ended. I think I went through like four or five rounds? First, an intro call with the recruiter. Then, a 60-minute chat with the hiring manager. They actually threw in a bonus 30-minute prep call before the mock pitch, which was really cool and helpful for figuring things out. After that, there was a mock pitch with the hiring manager and the VP of Sales. Finally, a last interview with the VP of Sales (the Chief of Sales was supposed to be there but didn't show up). Honestly, I was super hyped about this at first. The hiring manager was awesome, really nice and supportive, and made it clear it was a two-way conversation right from the start. That's pretty rare! He seemed genuinely into my background, and I left that chat feeling really good about the company, the job, and the vibe. The extra prep call before the pitch was a nice touch too, letting me get clear on expectations. It was a great experience, up until the mock pitch. The vibe changed when the VP joined. I get people have different styles, and maybe he was just busy, but he came off as really cold and dismissive. It felt like all the work I'd put in didn't matter much. The pitch itself was okay, mock pitches are always a bit weird, but I felt I did my best, especially juggling my current job. The feedback was fair, and I mostly agreed with it. I wasn't perfect, but I definitely didn't bomb it. Even with the tone shift, I was still excited about the company and hopeful for the final round. I even asked the recruiter for a prep call beforehand. She was helpful and honest, saying the VP could be 'blunt' – I guess that was a heads-up. The final call is where it all went sideways. It felt less like an interview and more like an interrogation. The VP started by saying my pitch was 'not the worst' but 'not great'. Fine, but why was I even here then? I felt like he'd already decided about me before I even started talking. The next 45 minutes were just aggressive questions and criticism, not just about my answers but about my career choices. It felt personal and overly harsh. The CSO, who I was told would be there, never showed. I left that call feeling pretty small and confused why I was even asked to attend. I didn't get an offer, and honestly, I'm glad. If that last conversation reflects the leadership culture, it's definitely not the right place for me. I don't mind tough interviews, but I think respect and professionalism should always be the minimum. Everyone deserves to be treated with dignity, especially when they've prepared, shown enthusiasm, and acted with integrity.

Behavioral Other

The interview process started with the HR team, and it was a very aggressive pace of questions, with a particular tone of voice. They barely listened to my answers and didn't seem very engaged, which made for a bad experience overall and a bad first impression of the company. I believe in respecting candidates when they make the effort to prepare. The Finnish culture is phenomenal, and this experience was totally the opposite.
