First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Superior Air-Ground Ambulance Service.
Recruiter
I interviewed for a role on the recruiting team. The interviewer asked some questions and told me about the process. I learned a bit about the culture, but it felt like the team was micromanaged. They said interviews would wrap up in a week, but then I heard nothing back.
- Are you comfortable with recruiting a large volume of candidates?
Emergency Medical Technician
I applied right after my EMT class, even though I didn't have my NREMT yet. I got a phone call interview with the recruiter, and then I got a job offer. After that, I went in person to fill out some paperwork. They did a drug test with a swab when I was signing the papers. If the swab didn't work or failed, I'd have to do a urine test when I went for my lifting test at the clinic they work with.
- What makes you believe you are suitable for this role?
EMT-B
It was a typical interview, so be ready to take a short basic EMT test before the interview. They ask about previous jobs, what your strengths were, what your definition of success is. Tell me about a time something bad happened and how you fixed it. Brandon is pretty cool and doesn't give you a hard time, just thanks you and is very optimistic.
- What do you know about our company?
- Can you tell me about a time something bad happened and how you fixed it?
- What are your strengths?
Buyer Purchasing Agent
The company doesn't offer sick days or a health savings account, which is concerning for a healthcare company. They also seem to expect employees to work while sick, potentially spreading illness. The HR department was quite rude during the process. The job title was also changed from Purchasing Manager to buyer purchasing agent, suggesting they expect more responsibilities for less pay.
- Can you describe how you would implement a computer system for inventory tracking and estimate its cost?
