So after a phone interview, I went in person for an interview, and when I got there, it was actually a group interview with another person. The interviewer had our applications and wanted us to explain why we picked certain words about ourselves and how those words would help as a soccer coach. He also gave me a pretend situation and asked how I'd handle it, then had the other candidate say if they'd do anything different. After that, I had to pretend to be a soccer coach teaching a toddler how to kick. It was a lot, but they were really nice and just wanted to see if I was ready.

I applied twice to Super Soccer Stars. The first time the recruiter was two hours late for my initial call. The second time around, I had a different recruiter who was more upfront. The first interview went well because I had relevant prior experience and a genuine interest in youth sports. The second interview also went well, with both the supervisor and the recruiter interviewing me. They said they'd follow up within two days if they wanted to move forward, but they didn't reach out until the following week, after the Labor Day holiday. For the final interview, they asked me to prepare and deliver a 30-minute presentation on short notice, which I agreed to. I felt I did well in that last interview, but by the end, I got the impression they weren't really interested in hiring me. I was pretty disappointed with the lack of transparency and poor communication throughout the process.

I got an email then a phone call. After a short chat, I was invited for an interview that lasted about 45 minutes. They asked about lesson planning and how I work with young kids. After the interview, I had to coach in a class. They watched to see if I was a good fit and asked me to use certain strategies with the children. Then, I found out if I got the job, which starts as an assistant coach with the opportunity to become a head coach.

I applied online and then they got in touch for a phone interview. Over a month, I went to their Boston office twice. The first time, I did a big marketing project about real company issues. The second time, I gave references. They made it sound like I'd get the job, but in the end, I didn't get an offer and they just ghosted me. Super unprofessional and a bad experience overall.
