First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Suntex Marinas.
Dockhand
The interview is easy if you know basics about boats and the water. They're upfront about the job duties and expectations. The main thing is being able to handle the physical work.
- What's your experience working on the water
Intern
This was an interview where questions were open ended and feedback was not given. The interviewer did not describe the position well and it seemed like it was a waste of their time. I noticed questions I asked were not greeted with a welcoming response.
- Would you be open to relocating multiple times for this role?
Network Administrator
The whole thing took 2 weeks. I first interviewed with the director of infrastructure. Then a few days later, I interviewed with the Network Engineering Lead. They didn't seem too keen on talking. This position has been open for a while. I asked why it was up for so long, but they just ignored me. After they rejected me, they posted the job again, and it's been up for over 3 months now.
- Can you tell me about your experience with Meraki?
- Do you have any questions about networking?
- Tell me about yourself.
Manager
It was a pretty chill but still professional interview process. Started with two phone calls, then a 45 min Zoom chat. After the Zoom call, I sent out thank you notes after a couple of hours. It's been about two months now, and I haven't heard anything back, feels like they ghosted me.
- What is the distance between your home and the marina?
