I had an online video interview where I had to answer common interview questions. A recruitment company set up my in-person interview, but they gave me the wrong names for the interviewers. During the interview, I was asked my age, which felt illegal. I was supposed to call the recruiter immediately after, but I couldn't because I had a long drive home. After I got home, I got a message saying I didn't get the job. I asked for feedback and was told I was disqualified for not calling the recruiter right away. The place seems really understaffed, with a 1:20 RN to patient ratio in detox, which I don't think is safe.

It started with a video interview where I had to answer questions while looking at a computer with a webcam. It was actually less stressful than an in-person interview because we even got to try it out beforehand. This was before the location was up and running and they were hiring everyone, so they probably don't do that anymore (unless you're applying to one of their new places they're opening). I kind of forgot about it when I didn't hear back for almost a month, then they called me for an interview. The actual interview was nice, I talked to the facility's clinical director and someone from corporate who was at a different site. It was my very first interview in my career field, so it was a good experience overall.

It was a basic, normal interview. Make sure you know about the job you're applying for. It's a must. Also, know the company and the type of clients the program works with. Relax, dress professionally, and they like it when you ask a lot of questions.
