First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Sunrise Brands.
Accountant
The interview process was pretty straightforward. I took a small test beforehand that assessed my accounting knowledge, specifically regarding balance sheets and income statements. Then, I met with the Controller, Assistant Controller, Accounts Payable Manager, and Cost Accountant Manager to determine which open position would be the best fit for me. The entire process took about two hours.
- How would you manage competing deadlines?
Accounts Receivable Analyst
I applied for this Accounts Receivable Analyst role on Monster, uploading my resume. About a week after applying, I got an email to schedule a prescreen phone interview. Following that, I had an interview scheduled with Lupe Martinez, who is the A/R manager.
- What was the amount of collections at your previous job?
- For which company did you collect the most?
Marketing Coordinator
There were 3 virtual interviews total. I talked to the hiring manager first. Then I spoke with some senior leaders. We talked about my past experiences, my skills, and behavioral stuff. They also asked about what is needed for the role.
- Can you mention a brand with a social media strategy you find impressive, and explain one reason for your admiration?
Sales
We had several rounds with different people from the team to make sure we both get a good understanding. It was nice to learn from everyone. The office was easy to find and the reception was great. Very pleasant and kind people.
