The initial phone call went fine, but the in-person interview felt pretty casual and wasn't great. After everything was done, I didn't hear back about the job for over two weeks. I tried reaching out to the manager and HR person a bunch of times through email and leaving voicemails, and they were generally pretty slow to respond.

HR reached out to schedule a phone chat. It was a quick 20-30 minute call where they asked about my background and went over the job details. Then they hit me with some 'fun' questions and I sent over a writing sample. About a week later, the brand manager called me in for an interview and gave me a writing assignment. The interview with the brand manager lasted about an hour. Afterward, I had to interview one of the staff members for the writing assignment. Then the hiring manager gave me a tour and introduced me to some people. Everyone seemed cool. I wrote an article about the company using the info from the interviews and submitted it on time. A week after that, I got rejected for not being a culture fit, even though they complimented my writing. It was unexpected since I thought I clicked with everyone and figured skills mattered more. Oh well. The process was good though, and the team seems happy there.
- On a scale of 1 to 10, how weird would you say you are?

Had 3 interviews total. First was with HR, then the hiring manager, and the last one was with the rest of the team. 2 of the interviews were in person. The initial stages moved pretty fast, but then things slowed down towards the end. I made it to the final round, and honestly, I wish I'd gotten a phone call about the rejection instead of just an HR form email, especially since I was so close.
- How do you handle stressful situations?
