The whole thing took about a month and a half. It started with a phone interview, then a four-part assessment, and finally an interview with the communications team. There was supposed to be another round after that. The interviewers were nice, friendly, and easy to talk to. The main issue was communication, though. I got rejected after the phone interview at first, but they called the next day to say it was a mistake. After I did the second-round interview, I was rejected again, but only after I asked for an update because there was no communication for a while. The rejection email seemed like a copy of the first one.

I met with the project manager and an HR person. The PM asked me to walk through my portfolio and explain my design process. HR told me about the company culture and environment. Then I came back for a second round, where I had an hour to complete a design test, creating a magazine spread.

First there was a technical interview where I had to go over my skills and experience. Then I did some technical tasks, it felt like pair programming but I had to figure most of it out myself. The interviewer was there to help if I needed more info. Lastly, there was a quick chat with the regional manager to finalize things.
