Project Manager
Applied on Sunquest website. Got a response in about a month and was invited to take a 30-min assessment test (personality and IQ). After that, HR called for a quick basic interview. Within a week, I had an interview with a PM manager and then another interview with the hiring manager. I took another 30-min assessment test proctored at my local library. A few days later, I got a job offer. There were no tricky questions. I researched the company website and their products. No industry-specific questions were asked about the "medical" aspect of the PM job. All questions were situational, and I used my PM academic knowledge to answer.
- What would you do in a given situation?
Project Manager
The interview process included three interviews and intelligence tests. It started with a phone interview with HR for general questions. After passing that, there was a 1st IQ test. If that was passed, two different PM managers interviewed candidates, one via Skype. After passing both, a final proctored IQ test was given, which took 30 minutes. The PM questions were basic, focusing on handling unforeseen issues and managing risk, more about data input and checking boxes than PMP-style project management.
- Describe a time something unplanned happened on a project, what you did, and how the client reacted.
Project Manager
I first had to complete a take-home test. After that, I got a call. Then, I came in for another test, followed by an in-person meeting with some really great people (who have since left the company). I ended up meeting with three individuals, none of whom were going to be my direct manager. My boss was too busy to interview me, so I had a great conversation with their peer but didn't click as well with my actual boss. It was a bit odd, but it worked out in the end.
- Tell me about your motivation and dedication.
