Applied online and went through three interviews plus an IQ test, taking about a month total. The first was with HR, covering my reasons for leaving my current role and my career aspirations. The subsequent two interviews were with hiring managers who asked more specific questions about the role. While being new to the lab space was acceptable, prior healthcare experience was a plus.

I applied online and had an initial phone interview with a recruiter. Then they had me do an online skills test which was harder than expected. They said they would decide whether to proceed within the next week "or so" but called the next business day to set up another phone interview (behavioral) with the manager for the position. They called a couple days later to set up a third phone interview with the department head, and finally after that they flew me to Tuscon (HQ) for an in person interview. It seemed like they wanted to move quickly because they kept saying they would decide whether to move forward with me or another candidate the next week but always called only one or two days later. I flew out at 6 in the morning, got there and interviewed for 6 hours, which included retaking the skills tests, two 1:1 interviews with the same people I had already talked to on the phone, and meeting a few of the employees in the same position for which I was applying. Their headquarters are very nice, but it was really intense because they were still asking behavioral questions and really drilling me on them and I kept thinking "Didn't we do this on the phone several times already?" So they again said they should make their final decision within the next week, but I got a call the next week saying they wanted to set up ANOTHER phone interview. At this point I was getting slightly irritated and wasn't sure I wanted to work for a company that was so indecisive, (if this was what I had to put up with just to GET the job, what would it be like once I actually worked for them? It seemed like they couldn't make up their mind at all.) it had been 6 weeks and 5 interviews and they still couldn't make their decision? So about a week after that I got an e-mail (no phone call) from the recruiter saying they had decided to "move forward with another candidate."

It was three rounds in total, first a HR screener, then a manager interview, and finally a director interview. I had to do three assessments, a personality test and two IQ-like tests. The whole thing took about 2-3 weeks from start to finish and then I got an offer.
