The interview process was effective and refreshing. The 60 second selfie video allows one to demonstrate how you present yourself and communicate, both critical aspects of sales. My interviews with the recruiters were thought provoking and informative. It challenges me to look within to determine what I was trying to accomplish and how I could do it. The interviewers actually cared about my success and about making my transition comfortable.

Behavioral Other

The interview process was unprofessional. I don't think they have an experienced HR person. The whole process felt like young people trying to act like a business. Solar energy is a good industry, but this company is doing it wrong. I had to submit a video before they'd consider hiring me. Then I had a Skype interview. I never spoke with Human Resources, their emails were late, and they were dressed unprofessionally. It seems like a 'pump and dump' scheme where they get consultants to sell their product and then sell off the company to a bigger name.

Submitted resume and a 1-minute pitch video on YouTube. Had a phone/video interview with Andrew Zambezi, the Regional Manager for the 4 branches. Then had a video interview with Patrick Butler. Got hired. The whole process was easy except you have to follow up. I think these guys are really busy because the ones hiring are actually working on the company, not just hiring, so you have to keep emailing them and calling them to make sure they are moving the process along. Don't be afraid to say "Just a friendly reminder I'm still interested." These guys were genuinely interested in learning about me as a human being and they have a great just get to know you attitude in the interview. It's basically a normal conversation where they are looking to see how you can demonstrate you're willing to work hard and believe in the product.

The interview went well. They told me what to expect upfront and were happy to answer my questions. First, there was a presentation about how the process works, and then I had to wait a couple of days for a confirmation that I got the job.
