Behavioral Case Presentation

I had a screening call with the recruiter, then a call with the Sales Manager. The next step was a big business case study. It was weird because this "business case" was in 3 parts and took hours to complete with no guarantee of another interview. It involved researching 10 target accounts, personas, product recommendations, pitch emails, objection handling, ROI documents, and building a full sales deck - basically free work for them. I turned it in and didn't hear back from the team on Sunday except to block off my calendar for a 3rd round interview while they reviewed. I followed up, but still no response. They totally ghosted me. Not even a "we decided to proceed with a different candidate." It's a really poor way to treat candidates. I don't recommend interviewing here.

Behavioral Technical

So I had 3 interviews, first with a talent acquisition specialist, then the hiring manager, and the last one was with a senior technical support specialist. Honestly, the whole process felt pretty disorganized. It seemed like none of them had actually read my resume beforehand, which was a bit frustrating because the first two interviews asked a lot of the same questions that could have been avoided if they'd just glanced at my background. The third interviewer threw in questions about specific tools that weren't even mentioned in the job description or earlier interviews, and I never claimed to have experience with them. It felt like a big waste of time for everyone involved, and they could have made it better by being clearer about the job requirements and reading my resume. It seems like they might have had similar issues with other candidates, as they reposted the same job offer shortly after rejecting me.

Behavioral Technical

I had a first chat with a super nice HR person, but it was all negative feedback and they seemed really rushed, like they interrupted me sometimes. It felt almost rude, but maybe that's just how they are. Then, the next interview was supposed to be with a head of department, but they couldn't make it for personal reasons. So, I ended up talking to a very junior person who just asked me some really basic or boring questions from a list. After that, there was silence, except for an automated email asking for feedback on the recruiting process, which is a really professional and human way to get updates! HR didn't communicate anything, even though that's their job. I only got a response after I emailed them myself, and they explained the offer was delayed. It makes you wonder if you really want to work somewhere where 'Human Resources' treats people like this. It feels like there's too much pressure on employees, they don't have time to do their jobs, or maybe the management is toxic, or they just don't care. I bet they'll post a comment to defend themselves, but we know the real story.

I got to chat with a bunch of the team members, which was great for getting to know them and asking my own questions. They had me do a case study, and then we chatted about it with the design team. It really gave me a sense of what they’re looking for and if I’d be a good fit. The whole thing felt really fair and made me feel good about possibly joining Sunday.
