The interview process was great! First, they asked me important questions about myself, then they told me about the company and the job. After that, I got to ask them questions about the job and company!
- Can you tell me about your strengths and weaknesses and provide descriptions for each?
- Describe your strengths and weaknesses.
Marketing
I was brought into a small room where two HR people seemed really awkward. They mostly looked at their clipboards while asking me questions. The questions were mainly about my environmental habits and recycling efforts. They barely looked at me, which made the whole thing pretty uncomfortable.
- What do you do to help the environment?
General Manager
you will have a detailed interview with an assistant HR director. Then you will interview with the HR director. If they are interested, they might offer you dinner or even a stay overnight. The final interview will be with the GM and 2 others.
- Regarding your current role, what were the revenue and food costs?
- Please provide a review of the resort, cabins, restaurants, and the gift shop within the General Store.
Lodging
The HR person was kind of inept and didn't seem to have a clear objective. Their judgment was poor and the support wasn't great. The whole process felt confusing and pretty informal. On the flip side, the people who helped me find HR were really nice and helpful. The absolute worst part was the waiting to hear back; it took about a month after my second interview to get a callback.
- What makes you want to join Sundance?
