I applied online and then had an in-person interview. The interviewer was really nice and professional. They looked at my experience and interests. They asked a lot of questions about hypothetical situations and my past experience. I got offered the job about a week later.

So my interview was a bit different than usual. First, I had an informal hour long "chat" with the department director, which didn't feel like an official interview at all. Then, about a month later, I had four informational interviews, each lasting half an hour, with various staff members in different departments. It wasn't until another 7 weeks after that they showed me the job description and gave me an offer.
