SEO Specialist
The interview process was easy, fast, and clear throughout. They managed the interview process well and gave me feedback very quickly. I wish all companies were this clear and direct. The interview included both technical and background questions.
- Many intelligent technical questions were asked. The process was complex and interesting.
Sales Representative
I had to wait for the manager to be available, which took about 20 minutes because he was in a meeting. They weren't interested in much about me, they just wanted to know about my computer skills and how I'd sound over the phone. They showed me a bonus schedule and told me to check out how much money I could make if I hit 60, 70, or 80k in sales within a month. The new sales manager mentioned there had been some issues at the company before, but assured me they were all sorted out and a new plan was in place to prevent anything like that from happening again. I was shown a bonus schedule and told to look at how much money I was going to make when I hit 60, 70 or 80k in sales during a month.
- When school is not in session, who would be your target for selling our products?
- How would you manage a situation with an angry customer who is demanding a refund?
- Can you describe your computer skills?
Accounting Clerk
I arrived and was taken to a meeting room for the interview right away. The interviewer, who was a contractor, was nice and answered my questions. She was also direct about what the company expected and how to achieve it. I liked her honesty. When I asked if there was a chance to go full-time after I finished my associate's program, I got a vague 'yes.' However, this did not happen. My supervisor later told me it was not an option, even though I thought it could be. I then took a competency test that was easy if you have basic math skills and common sense. They hired me quickly, but they didn't mention it was a temporary role until the department manager returned from maternity leave. I was laid off soon after and realized this myself. I learned to be careful with companies that make promises they can't keep.

Sales Consultant
I applied online and got an email back pretty quickly. I had a phone interview within 2 days, which was really professional and nice. It helped me understand the company, the job, and the vibe. Then, they invited me for an in-person interview that lasted about an hour. It was a good back-and-forth. I learned more about the company culture, how my experience fits the role, the salary, and what I'd actually be doing. The managers were super knowledgeable and seemed like good leaders. I'm waiting to hear back by the end of the week. They've been pretty timely so far. I'll let you know what happens.
- Tell me about your current situation and your future aspirations.
- How can you contribute to success and achieve results in this role?
