First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Sumo Logic.
Sales Development Representative
The interview process was pretty standard. First, I talked to an HR person about why I wanted to join the company and some other background stuff. Then, I had a chat with the SDR team's hiring manager who asked about my work ethic and past experience. The last part was with a director, and it was probably the hardest because they asked tech-related questions. Since I didn't have a tech background before, I had to figure those out on the spot.

Sales Development Representative
SumoLogic HR director reached out on Linkedin and the whole process went by fast, just a week and 3 days. The process kicked off with the HR director introducing me to the Sales Development Manager in Sydney for the first round phone interview. After that, I had an interview with the Regional Director for Korea, which served as a language skills test. The final interview was with the Sales Development Director based in the US. I was impressed by how engaged they were throughout the entire interview process. The last interview with the Sales Development Director was my favorite; it was unconventional and semi-formal, which made me feel really comfortable and not nervous at all. I got a good vibe about their company culture, experiencing transparency, modesty, equality, and credibility.

The hiring process was super fast and efficient. All the interviewers were really nice and asked pretty standard questions. I felt like they respected my time, were easy to chat with, and honestly made me more excited about the possibility of joining their team. I believe I had three interviews over the course of three days.
