Behavioral Technical

First, I spoke with someone from HR on the phone. After that, I had a phone chat with the branch manager. We talked about my past jobs, my background, my skills, sales experience, career goals, computer skills, and other things. It felt pretty relaxed, and nothing was too hard.

Behavioral Technical

It started with a phone screen with 5-7 simple behavioral questions. Then, I talked to the two managers I would report to. This interview had another 5-7 behavioral questions that were a bit tougher with follow-ups. They also asked about specific software tools, showing they wanted someone already familiar with them. It would be better if they listed required tools in the job description to save time.

Confirmed questions8 questions
  • Can you share your relevant experience and explain why you are interested in this position?
  • What would you identify as your greatest strength and your biggest weakness?
  • Describe a situation where you realized you wouldn't be able to complete a task on time. What action did you take?

Technical Coding

The interview was not great because they didn't seem to know enough about what this job actually involves. The questions they asked weren't really about the core skills needed for App management, and it was hard to show off my technical skills or explain how my past experience would fit. It would be much better if they focused more on the relevant technical stuff.

Behavioral Technical

Summit prefers to promote from within, so they always check if there are qualified internal candidates first. If they can't find anyone suitable inside the company, they'll then look externally. Since I've been with SCU for over 8 years and have interviewed a few times, these were all internal interviews, and they were pretty straightforward from the internal perspective.

Confirmed questions6 questions
  • SCU really values behavioral questions because most roles involve direct customer contact.
  • Can you provide an example of a challenging customer interaction you managed?
  • How do you approach explaining intricate financial products to clients?
