The interview process was relaxed and fairly easy. My biggest gripe is that they wasted my time. They advertised the job with a pay range of $35,000 to $40,000 per year but then stated it was $35,000 and non-negotiable. These tactics are gross, and they are just looking for someone they can pay the lowest wage to. Stop wasting interviewees' time!

So, the interview process had two main steps. First, there was a phone interview where I talked with some of the admin folks. Then, the second interview was in person, and I met with the building principal. The main thing they wanted to know about was how my ideas on education fit with Summit’s mission.

I went through three interviews over a two week period. They were pretty easy and not very demanding. Two of the interviews were short, about 5 or 10 minutes, and the third one was around 15 minutes. Nothing unusual or tricky came up. It was a straightforward process.

I was contacted a few days before the interview. When I arrived, two staff members interviewed me in a room. They asked me questions, and before I left, one of them told me that if they were interested in me, they were interested in me. I left the interview with new hire paperwork.
