The interview process was pretty chill. I had two interviews and they gave me the job offer the same day. It's a good idea to know the menu and what Sugarfish is all about because they'll ask you about it, like if you're comfortable with it.
- If you were an animal, which one would you be and why?
Hostess
I went through two interviews. First, I spoke with the restaurant manager, and then with the regional manager. They were both pretty easy and simple, no surprises. They asked about me, my experience, and how I'd deal with specific customer situations or problems. Really, they just want someone really positive and who can work well with others.
- Do you prefer working independently or as part of a team?
Server
The hiring process was smooth and straightforward. I received an immediate response after applying and was essentially offered the position right away. The subsequent training was also a positive experience, and I enjoyed my time working there.
- Can you tell me about your availability to work and how you handle pressure?
- How do you manage your schedule and perform when under pressure?

The interview process had two stages. First, you talk to the general manager of the location so they can get to know you. Then, you have a second interview with the regional manager, who asks more job-related questions.
- Could you start by telling me a bit about yourself?
- When working with others, would you rather have someone who is a great teammate but sometimes makes errors, or someone who is efficient and gets their work done perfectly but is difficult to interact with?
