They didn't ask many questions about my experience, mostly about my availability and if I could work all holidays. They were looking for full-time or part-time workers. I didn't get a callback after emailing them several times.
- What is your availability?
- Are you looking for full-time or part-time work?
Pastry Chef
The interview seemed promising, making me think I'd get the job, but I never heard back from them. I waited for months and got no response. It was a really bad experience.
- Have you ever cooked before?
Busser/Runner
When you come in, they'll go over your resume. They're usually pretty eager to hire because people leave a lot. They want to see that you'll hustle and can work upstairs at the movie theater and downstairs at the restaurant. They like to hear that you have an open schedule because they offer a lot of hours.
- Are you open to being flexible?
Busser
I had a simple interview process. The owner of the restaurant met with me and explained the typical duties for someone starting at his establishment. Then, he inquired if I was able to handle the tasks he described, and upon my affirmative response, he extended the job offer.
- Are you able to perform your duties effectively in a high-pressure environment?
