Commercial Terrain
The phone interview went well. An appointment was set for an in-person interview over the phone. The meeting took place on September 8th in Neuilly Plaisance. Looking for a field sales representative B2C or similar position.

Web Master
A recruiter reached out to me about a direct hire role. I then had a meeting with two IT people. They explained the job requirements, and I presented my portfolio and resume. They seemed to value someone who is a hard worker and dedicated to completing tasks. I was also very interested in the company because of the environment and the potential for growth in a expanding company.
- Are you open to acquiring new knowledge?
Graphic Designer
I applied for a graphic design job online and got a call from HR a few days later for a phone interview. It went well, so they invited me for an in-person interview. When I got there, the hiring managers were super late, like 45 minutes past the scheduled time. They apologized and took me into the interview room where I met a team of 3 other people: a senior designer, a marketing person, and a creative director. Then, they told me they were interviewing me for a different position than the one I applied for, but thought I might be a fit. It was pretty clear I wasn't qualified for it, which made things awkward. They also criticized my portfolio because it mostly had school and freelance work, since I was entry-level back then. The hiring manager then asked me a scenario question about Coca-Cola caps and the Super Bowl, and insisted I give a dollar amount, which I did, but they didn't seem impressed. The hiring manager also made a comment about how employees are constantly overwhelmed and that there are two types of people there: those who take breaks and those who don't, adding that people get miserable there very fast. This made me realize it's not a place I want to work.
- Given that 5 gold Coca-Cola caps are manufactured and placed on bottles at random, how much money would it cost to send the 5 contest winners to the Super Bowl for life?
Designer
Got a call from HR to set up a phone interview, and they were super clear about no relocation help. The phone interview went well, and then I got a mock project and an invite to fly out to their HQ in Fort Worth, Texas. The trip and in-person interviews with the design team and VP were smooth. We had lunch with some buyers, and a team member showed me around the town. They covered my car service to/from the airport and hotel for one night.
- Can you explain your frequent job changes?
- Are you involved in creating technical specifications for products?
