The interview process was quite straightforward on their end, although the state department of education was a bit slow with things. The training provided was really informative. I found the administrator to be very friendly and easy to talk to. I attended the training session and also had to get fingerprinted. The most challenging part for me was gathering all my necessary paperwork. I'd definitely recommend this company.

I had to do a state and federal background check, send in all my licenses and transcripts. I went to the police department for a full fingerprint scan to include with the federal background form. The background check took some time. After it came back clear, Subteach emailed me a formal application which I filled out and signed. I was at an elementary school about two weeks later.

I was given 7 internal questions that I needed to answer to be considered for the role. It felt like they already had someone in mind for the position, perhaps an internal candidate. I didn't know how to answer the questions because I haven't worked for them before.

The process involved completing background checks, both federal and state. I paid a fee to the Department of Human Services for fingerprint cards and background checks. I also had to order a transcript from my college to prove I had completed 60 hours of coursework. I didn't have a formal interview, but I had to prove my education requirement and pass the background checks.
