Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at STV.
Civil Engineer
It was a pretty standard interview process, and everyone I met was friendly. STV is a medium-sized company and it looks like they have pretty good benefits. The hiring manager seemed a bit unpersonable but knew roadway design well. I ended up taking a job elsewhere, but overall STV seemed fine. I'm not sure if their social media presence is a plus or minus.
- Where do you see your career progressing?
Environmental Engineer
The interview process was very low pressure and felt more like a conversation. The staff were really nice and friendly, making for a comfortable experience. They focused more on assessing if I was a good fit for the team rather than asking many technical questions.
- Can you tell me about the projects you've worked on?
Environmental Engineer
It was a pretty relaxed in-person interview with two people who were higher up in the department. They talked a bit about their own work and the projects they're involved in at the company.
- What are your goals for your career?
- Can you describe your past experience?
- What specific areas or projects are you interested in working on here?
