The interview process took a while because it went over Christmas break, which is understandable given the timing. Otherwise, it was pretty standard, no major issues or tough questions. They were good about respecting my time, which is always a plus. A couple of things I noticed were that salary expectations were never brought up in either of the two interviews. Also, their tools and processes seem a bit outdated; most places use things like Calendly, but here it was all done manually via email for availability. The first interview felt a bit low energy, which made me question if I wanted to proceed.

I applied online and a recruiter reached out via email for an intro meeting. It was a great chat, and the recruiter's enthusiasm was really motivating. Next, I got an invite to do a small assignment. After finishing that, I was set up for a technical interview to review the code. Unbeknownst to me, there was also a timed live coding challenge during the meeting, which really caught me off guard. I got super nervous and it didn't go well. I later got rejected, with them saying it was due to some 'details.' They should be more upfront with applicants about what to expect in a technical interview; it wasn't very professional, especially for a junior position.

I applied online through indeed on April 24th 2022. The same day I got invited to schedule a quick intro interview with one of the representatives, I chose April 29th 2022. She asked me very basic questions for around 5 to 8 minutes and then selected a pre-planned time for me to have a translation and content writing assessment for about 5 hours with another member of the company. On May 5th, 2022, at 11 am I took the assessment. At that stage, a group of applicants joined a Google meeting where they shared a separate file with each of us with the task to be completed. After completing the task, I sent it through email to the representative who sent me the documents. It’s been around two weeks now and I’m still waiting for their response.

I applied on March 7, 2022 and got an email on March 17 to pick a date for an interview. I picked March 22 and they were really flexible with times. The first interview went great; the interviewer asked questions and told me a bit about the company. She was really nice and scheduled me for a second interview on March 30 to do a writing sample. In the second interview, another interviewer checked our emails to make sure they were correct before sharing a Google Doc. This doc had a topic per category for us to write about. We had 5 hours to write 1000-1500 words.
