First, I had a fit interview with two consultants. Then, about 10 days later, I was invited to a second round, which was an online group case study interview. This involved one market sizing case and then one manufacturing troubleshooting case. After that, there was an online solo case study. They kept telling me I'd have an hour for the case, same as the in-person folks, but I only got 30 minutes to solve it and then 30 minutes to upload my answers. 30 minutes wasn't enough time to really nail the case, and I'm not sure if it was a technical glitch. After not getting the job, I got a friendly feedback call.

Technical Coding Case

I applied for the graduate role and the recruitment process isn't very applicant-friendly. You submit your CV online and sign up for a mandatory information session. The session was 90 minutes long and took place in the evening. They walked us through a typical case, but it was mostly info you could find on their website. After the session, everyone was given two hours between 8:00-10:00pm to complete their aptitude test. The assessment was fairly easy and straightforward but it proved they are only looking for people with a very specific background, unless you studied physics or engineering.

Technical Behavioral Group Case Presentation

We start with a quick 20-minute test during the info session, with about 40 math, physics, engineering, and logic questions that you have to move really fast on to finish. If you do well enough on the test and meet other minimums, you'll get a first round interview. The first round is a short 15-minute 2-on-1, mostly asking fit questions like 'tell me about a time you...'. About 20 people get to the second round, which is a full day. It has multiple rounds of timed group case studies with presentations, plus an individual case study and an engineering design challenge. About half the people are cut at lunch. The remaining half does a longer, individual case study presentation in the afternoon. Around 5 people move on to the final round, which is a 1-hour 2-on-1. These are much more open-ended fit questions, and you get a lot of time to ask your own questions. There's one last informal case question at the end.
