Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Stroud International.
Associate
The interview process was really enjoyable and involved three stages. First, there was a brief 15-minute introductory call. Following that, an assessment center took place, which was divided into two parts, with only five candidates advancing to the second part. Finally, there was a last individual interview.
- Could you explain a technical concept to me?
Associate
So basically there was like a 1.5 hr info session, and then at the end of that, there was a 20min written analytical test. After that, I got a notification to schedule a 15 min interview for the next day. And if I passed that, then there are 2 full day interviews the following week on my college campus.
- What makes you want to join Stroud?
- Can you explain a technical concept simply?
Associate
Had a good overall experience. Applied via campus recruiting in London. Attended an info session, then got a link for an online assessment, mostly math questions of medium difficulty. Passed that and had a 30-minute interview. After passing that, I was invited to an assessment center with about 8 other people. There were 3 case studies in the morning. Got rejected after the case studies, so didn't make it to the next round. The case studies involved operations and troubleshooting issues in a process. My advice: bond well with your group mates and have great presentation skills.
- Why did you apply to Stroud?
- What makes you want to pursue consulting?
- Can you explain a technical concept to someone without a technical background?
