First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Strive Health.
Registered Nurse Care Manager
The interview process was well-organized and happened in a timely manner. It included a call with HR, then with a leader, and then separately with a front-line colleague. They kept mentioning the benefits throughout. It felt like a new company and there's a lot of change happening. Responsiveness decreased after the interview process was over.
- Can you share an instance where you had to deal with a complex patient situation?
- Describe a situation where you worked with a team of different healthcare professionals.
- Give an example of a time you had to manage a challenging interaction with a patient or their family.
Strategy and Operations
I had a great experience with Strive, both during the interview process and after joining the company. Over the course of about a week, I completed three interviews and received a verbal offer shortly after. The talent acquisition partner was highly responsive and kept me updated at every step of the interview process. Everyone I interviewed with was friendly, professional, and engaging. It was the fastest and most efficient hiring process I've experienced.
- Can you introduce yourself and explain your interest in Strive? Also, describe your problem-solving approach.
- Tell me about yourself. Why are you interested in Strive? What is your approach to problem-solving?
Communications Content Senior Associate
It was a long and drawn out process. First, an HR phone screen, then an interview with the hiring manager. After that, I interviewed with two directors. Then, there was a writing and editing test, followed by another interview with HR. This was a new position and I got the sense they didn't even know what they're looking for, with too many rounds of interviews and too many people involved. It felt like a startup environment where there are many changes taking place.
- What do you know about Strive and why do you want to work here?
- Tell me about why you're interested in working at Strive.
FP&A Analyst
We began with a recruiter screening call, then I interviewed with the director. After that, there was an Excel assessment, followed by two more 30-minute interviews with the team. I really got a good feeling about the company culture right from the first call. The director's interview was really engaging, and you could tell everyone there genuinely likes working there. They even sent me an interview guide before the first round, which was a first for me. Even though I had already accepted an offer elsewhere after my initial call with them, the experience was so positive that I felt compelled to share.
- Reflecting on your past roles, could you share one aspect you found particularly enjoyable and one you did not?
