The interview process was pretty standard with multiple rounds. The recruiter was good with communication, always on time and followed up, which was nice. Didn't get an offer though, but the company/team looks like a good place to work.

I got referred by a friend. The VP of Tech was supposed to interview me, but didn't even know what the role was for. He spent the first few minutes of the call trying to get someone on Slack and then added the Hiring Manager on the fly. I asked him if it was a good time, and he said yeah. Since he didn't know anything about me or that he was interviewing me, I asked him to tell me more about them and the role, but his answer didn't match the description I got earlier. It felt really disorganized. They said I was a good fit and my skills matched what they needed, but then they quickly declined me! Given how messy it was, I feel like I didn't even get a real shot and my time was wasted.

A recruiter messaged me on LinkedIn to set up an interview. I'd interviewed with this company before and didn't get the job, but I've gotten a lot more experience since then. After talking to the recruiter, I had an in-person interview that seemed to go well. A former coworker at Strive said good things about the company. However, my time was wasted because after 45 minutes of talking about my skills and being told I was a good fit, I was quickly rejected. I won't interview with them again or even consider them. Experienced technicians should do the same and know their worth.
