First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Stride.
Teacher
I interviewed with this company. The people were really nice and seemed enthusiastic about their work. They asked typical teaching-related questions, but it was all done virtually. I'm hopeful about the next steps.
- How does your experience in a physical classroom transfer to a virtual one?
Elementary Teacher
I first had to record a video interview. Then, I did a zoom interview with a principal and two other teachers. They didn't seem very interested in what I had to say. I guess they already picked someone. I got a standard email saying I didn't get the job.
- What's your approach to dealing with challenging parents?
Accountant
It was a two hour process with back-to-back interviews. They used AI software to track my language and provide a score to the interviewer. I met people from multiple levels of the company.
- Can you give several examples of your Excel usage?
- What are your reasons for leaving your current position?
- Could you tell us about yourself on a personal level, beyond your education or achievements?
Provider
I only had one interview before they extended an offer. They also gave me a chance to shadow before I had to decide if I wanted to accept the offer or not. The providers I met were really nice and answered all the questions I had.
- Can you tell me about yourself and what interests you about working at Stride?
