I went through two rounds of interviews. It was pretty straightforward, and the whole experience was relaxed and easy. I spoke with the Senior Associate and then the Managing Director for my team. They were both very pleasant and down-to-earth interviewers.

It started with an HR phone screen. Then I had to do an online personality test and approve background checks. The interview process began with a Wonderlic test, which I scored well on. I then met with three people from my potential team and their manager. They had all reviewed my personality profile. Finally, I met with the hiring manager. After a two-week background check, I received an offer to join.

Behavioral Other

I spoke with a recruiter who then set up a phone screen with their HR department. I was warned not to contact anyone at the company because the role was to replace someone. There weren't any skill or behavioral questions, but they asked things like, 'have you ever had to fire someone.' They were actually looking for a contractor with a 'manager' title to replace and fire a 'Director.' They also repeatedly disparaged the current employee during the conversation, suggesting I should be straightforward and put them on a performance review or lay them off. It didn't seem like a good work environment, so I didn't continue.
