First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at StretchLab.
Flexologist
The interview process had 2 rounds. The first round was about getting to know who you are and what you're looking for in the role, and seeing what your experience is. The second round was all about your knowledge of the human body and practical experience in the field.
- Can you name the muscles in your hamstrings?
Sales Associate
The interview process was easy, consisting of one interview and a phone call. An in-person meeting is also required. Just be pleasant and normal, as if you were front of house, and don't come intoxicated. The franchise owner has an eccentric vibe and wears a really big watch; it's best not to stare directly at it.
- What led you to discover Stretchlab?
General Manager
This was the worst interview process ever. I interviewed in mid-March 2023, with two phone interviews followed by an in-person interview the next week. They needed someone quickly. I was told a decision would be made the first week of April. From April 1st to June 30th, there was zero communication despite my follow-ups, with promises of a decision "next week." On June 15th, 2023, they contacted me again, and the meeting turned into a fourth interview, with a fifth one proposed. I was told I'd get an answer the following week. After no response, I followed up again. On July 3rd, 2023, they claimed they sent an email two weeks prior and might have the wrong email, though they had the correct one and I never received it. It was a four-month process with no communication and misleading information.
- Can you discuss your leadership experience?
- What's your approach to recruiting and onboarding?
- How would you describe your management style?

I had a nice first phone interview and a second in person interview. The in person one was pretty long, over an hour, and I felt like the owner and I really clicked and were on the same page with values and goals. After the second interview, a few days went by and I didn't hear back. I sent a follow-up email to say thanks for their time and that I was still interested, and all that. So, I was pretty surprised when I still haven't heard anything back after the second interview.
