QA Analyst
The entire interview process spanned approximately three weeks. It began with a brief 10-minute phone chat with a recruiter. About a week later, a 20-minute phone screening with the hiring manager was set up. On the same day as the hiring manager call, I received a small assignment requiring me to write some SQL queries and create test cases for a feature on their website. The final in-person interview took place a week after that. Two days after the final interview, I got a call from the hiring manager informing me they decided to pursue other candidates.

Product Support Specialist
I applied on September 23rd and then had my first interview about two weeks later with what I think was an HR assistant. It was a short 15-minute phone call where she asked three basic questions: why Zillow, my salary needs, and how I found the job. Three days after that, I had my second interview with the manager of the compliance and accountability team, which went really well. Then, two days later, I had a Zoom technical screening with a senior team member. I explained my skills and technical abilities, and he said I was pretty advanced. Thirteen days passed, and then I had my fourth, fifth, and sixth interviews. These were all 30-minute interviews, back-to-back. The fourth was with the manager of a related team, the fifth with my potential direct teammate, and the sixth with the senior director. Everyone was great and friendly. The senior director said I'd hear back in a few days, but the recruiter said two weeks. After two weeks with no news, I followed up. The senior recruiter said she'd call me that day with feedback, but it's now been three weeks, and I still haven't received a call or any feedback.

Technical Support Engineer
I applied to two roles. The first interview was supposed to be a phone call, but the recruiter scheduled it for a time I didn't agree on and didn't confirm. They also require a two-page questionnaire about why I want to join the company. After completing it, I had a second phone interview with the same HR person for a different position. She mentioned the first role required experience that wasn't listed in the job description, but said I was a good fit for the new role. The interview went well since we had spoken before. I followed up the next week, and she said the HR manager was interested but had a doctor's appointment. I never heard back after an email and a call. I'm confused about their hiring process; it's a waste of time.

After I sent in my resume online, I first got a call for a phone interview. Then, I had two more phone interviews. After those, I went in for an in-person interview. It was five interviews in a row with different people from the StreetEasy team, and they mostly asked the same things. Then, they had me write a sample blog post to check my writing. After that, I gave them my reference contacts, and they hired me not long after. The whole thing took about a month.
