So it was a couple rounds; first, a 30-minute video call, then an initial assessment to complete. After that phone interview, there was another assessment. I would have had an in-person interview, but they ghosted me for a couple weeks and then sent an email saying they were moving in another direction after I emailed them multiple times.

Had a phone call with HR asking typical questions. Then I was invited in person to talk with the department head who was curious about my experience. Not too many hard questions. The company has good resources in the department and better equipment than my university.

I applied online and a few days later I got a phone interview. They scheduled an in-person interview for the following week where I took a short test and then met with department supervisors. It seemed to go well and they contacted my references after about two weeks. I followed up after a week and learned they were waiting on one reference. After that reference got back to them, I waited another five days. I called again to express my continued interest and was told they were still interviewing people and apologized for the delay due to a computer glitch. Two days later, I received an email saying someone else got the job. The whole process took way too long, and it felt like they weren't in a rush to hire, even though the supervisors said they needed someone immediately. I suspect they hired someone at a lower wage, even though I was told my request of $13.00-$14.00 an hour shouldn't be an issue, but the shipper 1 role started at $11.50.

I had a phone screen set up and was told an HR employee would be calling me. I didn't receive a call at the scheduled time. After waiting 15 minutes, I called Streck and was informed that the HR employee had called in sick, so my phone interview had to be rescheduled. The phone interview itself was very basic. The next day, I received a call to arrange an in-person interview.
