Behavioral Case

I actually interviewed TWICE for this position. The first time was in February, which did not result in an offer, but I got some really good feedback. The process only made me want the job even more. Thuis is such an amazing company, and I felt honored to even be considered for a role here. Additional positions eventually opened up a few months later (May/June), and I was subsequently given another chance to interview. As as start-up, StreamSets was definitely looking for quality talent with a good amount of industry knowledge (which I lacked, compared to some of my competition in the first instance)...however in the end my "attitude and aptitude" (which new companies also need lots of) was what convinced them to ask me to join the team.

Behavioral Other

It started with a phone call with the recruiter, Danielle, Corey, Greg, and Drew. Then Rick Wagen (I think by phone), followed by an in-person meeting with Drew. Finally, a verbal offer and a written offer were extended. There was a bit of a hold-up because Drew wasn't there when I started and joined mid-way, and it was unclear if Shekhar needed to interview me.

Behavioral

It's a pretty simple 4-step interview process. First, you talk to HR Recruiter, then you meet with the SDR Manager, then you meet with the SDR Manager again, and finally, you interview with the VP of Sales. Just show you're excited and have the right background, and you can totally get the job.
