First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Stream Realty Partners.
Marketing Manager
The interview process started great but ended badly. First, I had a good recruiter call, which made me excited. Then, I had a 2-hour chat with two senior leaders that was engaging and positive, and they made me feel like a good fit. The next interview was a panel of three people, and it also went well. I was told I impressed them and was moving on. For the final interview, they initially preferred in-person but decided on virtual because I was from out of town. I decided to fly in anyway for the final interview and prepared a 4-page brochure with strategies. When I got there, the executive barely asked about me, had another meeting, and left. He sent someone else who didn't know what to discuss. It didn't feel like a real final interview and was disrespectful. After that, I heard nothing for two weeks. I followed up and got a one-sentence automated rejection. My emails for feedback went unanswered for weeks, and the reply I got was generic. Then, I saw the job posted again. I wasn't upset about not getting the offer, but about the lack of professionalism and care at the end. After putting in time, money, creative effort, and enthusiasm, getting an automated rejection and no real communication reflected poorly on the company. I'm surprised there was little effort to end things on good terms.

Analyst
First, there was a recruiter call where they asked about my background. Pretty basic stuff. The second interview was kind of weird. It started with two guys joining, and one asked the other if he was supposed to handle it, and the other guy basically said yeah, I guess I'll do it.

There were three interview rounds in total. The final round was an in-office interview where you'd be speaking with several brokers. They really wanted to gauge your passion for real estate and understand your motivation for wanting to join Stream.
- What is your interest in the real estate industry?
- What makes you want to work for Stream specifically?
Customer Experience Manager
I had a 30-minute Zoom interview scheduled. The interviewer was 20 minutes late and only joined after I emailed, admitting she forgot. Due to other interviews, she could only spend the remaining 10 minutes with me. She didn't allow time for my questions. She asked about my comfort with the commute multiple times and seemed unprepared. I was told I'd hear back the following week, but I never did.
